Once a site of confinement, the cell becomes a space for shared reflection and re-examining one’s relationship with existential freedom. Through playful acts of disobedience and an audio visualization, the work invites participants to revisit norms and prohibitions absorbed over time, and to discern which continue to hold meaning and which restrict becoming.
Moving beyond framing disobedience as rebellion against others, the work approaches it as an intimate negotiation with the self. In doing so, it aims to cultivate a shared environment where vulnerability, play, and reflection become tools for reimagining how we inhabit ourselves and the worlds we co-create.
