You Through Me work consists of two virtual reality sets, that are worn by two individuals at the same time allowing them to see real time from each other’s perspective as they would inhabit the other’s body. It deals with the themes of empathy, self-other boundaries and perspective taking.

An iteration of the work is made in low tech, using smartphones and a combination of everyday freely available platforms to recreate the experience. The audience is also presented with instructions on how to recreate the setup. This version aims to transcend the confines that high-tech technology imposes inviting the audience to be playful, reclaim and repurpose the technologies they use daily.
